Drink & Draw: The Great Unfinished

What is it? A casual evening drawing experience hosted by a professional artist. Can I bring my friend who doesn't want to draw? Yes! Do I have to draw? No! Do I have to be good at drawing or art? No! This is about enjoying art and hanging out with other people and maybe trying some new techniques!
Featured Artist- Richard Benbow
Richard is a mature student currently studying ‘Visual Art’ at Salford University. He works experimentally using multi-media and explores often political issues. His previous work has included exploring homelessness and addiction. He is currently interested in the idea of ‘space’ in relation to social media and unused physical spaces.
You’ll be taking part in 'The Great Unfinished.' We’ll be taking photocopies of unfinished drawings and completing them with drawing, painting and collage. (It’s a great session if you’re unsure about your own drawing ability) Richard previously ran this session at the Antwerp Mansion, Manchester and it was a lot of fun.
The theme for November’s ‘Great Unfinished’ is buildings, architecture and unused space.
Basic drawing materials, glue, paint are provided by The Old Courts but please feel free to bring your own art materials, if you have them, and old magazines for the collage, and maybe a pair of scissors, would be really appreciated!
