BAC Beatbox Academy: Frankenstien

Battersea Arts Centre presents their home-grown BAC Beatbox Academy, the UK's most exciting group of beatboxers, singers and rappers.
They are vocal athletes, auditory illusionists guaranteed to impress. Using nothing but their mouth and a microphone this is a magic trick you can dance to.
The young collective have recently appeared on Gareth Malone’s BBC2 The Choir and performed all over the country from Latitude Festival to The Royal Festival Hall they have taken the nation by storm.
Current members of the group are ranked within the Top 10 Beatboxers in the UK.
Frankenstein is a brand-new gig theatre show inspired by the monstrous tale of power and persecution. It’s all live, all made from the mouth. The vocal collective present an electrifying hour of song, soundscape, improvised tracks, and, of course, battles. Through original music and spoken word the cast recounts a story of modern monsters, and asks who made them?
The cast invite local groups and performers to join them for a post-show jam!
Please be aware that there is strong language during this performance.
