Wigan Prince’s Trust Team Programme

Wigan Princes Trust are now recruiting for our May team, we have a start date of 13th May in Wigan but we will be conducting interviews now.

The Prince's Trust Team Programme is for learners aged 16-25 who are NEET. The programme consists of a residential, community project and a work placement tailored to the learners chosen career path. We provide guidance and support for CV building and completing application forms whilst ensuring learners have progressions lined up for when they leave us. Our most recent community project involved raising awareness of homelessness in Wigan by presenting an assembly to children at Platt Bridge Community School and raising money for Real Change and The Brick to help support them with tackling homelessness. The course promotes confidence building, team work and well being.

We pay travel expenses, can offer lunch expenses and the learners have the opportunity to receive up to £200 incentive for completing (based upon attendance, attitude etc). Some learners are also eligible for a bursary if they meet the criteria. If the young people refer a friend who completes the course with them they also receive an extra bonus.

If you have anybody in mind that you feel would benefit from our programme please don't hesitate to get in touch via email Kerry.andrews@groundwork.org.uk or text PRINCE to 80800 free of charge.

The Princes Trust Programme supports learners to achieve some fantastic things!

Please feel free to circulate this email to anybody you see fit,

Thanks very much.
