Lancashire Wildlife Trust - Bickershaw Country Park

Bickershaw COuntry Park is a 247 hectare nature reserve that is located on the site of the former Bickershaw Colliery.

The Bickershaw Project is run by the Lancashire Wildlife Trust in partnership with Wigan Council and Manchester City of Trees, and sets out to enhance Bickershaw Country Park for wildlife and local communities.

Everybody is welcome to join in! All abilities and mobilities can be accommodated.

Every Wednesday to Friday a group of volunteers meet on site to get stuck into some practical conservation work.
The meet time is 10am at Edna Road car park (WN7 5ES) and sessions last up until 3pm.

All tools are provided but bring lunch and wear appropriate clothing for outdoor work.

Contact the Project Officer Hamish at hjeffreson@lancswt.org.uk to get involved.
